Who is benefiting most from computer coding being part of the National Curriculum?

I was asked recently to write a short opinion piece on the introduction of Computing into the National Curriculum in England for the Britain in 2016 magazine produced by the Economic and Social Research Council. In the short piece, ‘Coding Culture‘ (based on my recent research published open access in Critical Policy Studies), I argued that significant commercial ambitions lie behind this major curriculum policy reform.
